Also it takes some time for me every week to do my list of winners. Even though it is posted I still get a ton of emails asking if they won. So I am thinking of stopping a winners list. Trust me if you won...and I don't hear from you I will keep emailing you. :) How does everyone feel about not posting winners? Plus I rarely get an acknowledgement comment from the winner (hint)!

I recently won on another blog and didn't receive the notifying email for whatever reason. I saw my name on the host's winner's list and was able to claim my prize. I appreciate seeing who is wining.
However, I understand your time is valuable and I'd understand if you had to drop this action, particularly if you're willing to send a second notification email.

As a past and hopefully future winner of one of your contests, I totally appreciate all that you do to bring wonderful deals and contests to us. I think that just notifying winners and not posting sounds just fine!
I always check the winners lists! I hope you keep posting them. Even though I haven't won (yet?) it gives me some 'closure' and stops me wondering!
Also I love to see the winners comments, too bad you're not getting more of them, maybe the hint will hit the mark!
I like the winner lists too. There is another review/giveaway blog that I like but she doesn't post a winner list and just emails the winners. I'm always wondering if the giveway is over, and sometimes if the giveaway was even real, since she never acknolwedges it again after the initial post.
I agree with the above commenter, even though I've never won, the list provide some kindof closure.
On the other hand, it's your blog, and you're the one putting in the time and effort to keep it going. If you decide to end the winner posts, that's fine too.
I do always double chek your winer list, just out of habit but if its "jut one more thing for you to do" with all the giveaway you do, i'd probably drop it too!!! i don't have enough that the posting a list is too much time right now but i've seen others who just "ETA" their contest post with winners or even "winners have been notified" or something like that. But whatever you do, my take on it is, its your blog do what you want to!!
I suppose the only plus to the list would be if you're creating more linky love for the sponsor of your giveaway!?

I like the winner's lists too. I always check them just in case and I like to see who has won. Like another commenter said, it gives me some closure on which contests have ended. However, I certainly understand if the time constraints of being a mommy and blogger won't allow it anymore.
I admit I like the lists. But I understand it can be a lot of work. (Says the gal who can't hardly manage a post a week at her own blog!)
I've been fortunate enough to win a couple giveaways at other blogs and I'm always surprised by the reaction I get when I send a thank you. I mean really! You're GIVING me something? A thank you is the least I can manage! (And I always send one to both the blogger and the sponsor.) Here's hoping the few out there get the thing.
And hey - thanks for even having the giveaways! You always have great stuff and we're lucky to have the chance to pick some up for fun.

I like seeing the winner's names. I also won something on a blog but never received the email tellign me I had. If I hadn't seen the list I would have never known!

Simply notifying who won is just fine! I don't know if anyone pays too much attention to the winners list anyway.. you know? Although it may close out the contest a little better.

I subscribe via email(good thing too,because I could have swore I was following you) anyway ,so I check winners list every time.It's just fun to read who won and makes it more exciting holding your breath to see if you do.I say please keep posting them.Also it might be harder on you if some people start emailing you asking,who won this,who won that.Not saying I would,but you never know.All this being said ,I say go with whatevers easiest for you.You do a great job and I love your blog.Now that I know how to add buttons to my blog,lol,yours was the first one added.:)

I would love to continue to see the winners list posted. It's great to know who won and even to see how they are liking their products if it was something you were interested in getting.
Also it keeps a good number of people from contacting you via e-mail and also solves any possible complaints that the same people always win etc. There are always a few of those from time to time.
Life is to short and time is precious so what ever your willing and comfortable doing is more then any of us can ask for. I don't know how you have time to do any of this. I am stretched so thin.
Your time is valuable. I don't know how you do all you do as it is. If someone subscribes, they will be checking back often. They can view comments when they do so. It's just plain RUDE to win something and not leave a comment. I've won a couple of things and have been shocked to get a big thank you from the blogger who gave it away! When I received the winnings in the mail, I sent another e-mail saying I'd received their mailing. They were even more shocked (but thankful) that they'd gotten an acknowledgment. Do what's easiest for you. I think you can be trusted -- tee hee!

Hi! Having never won (yet) I don't really have a strong opinion. I think the people who are going to comment here are the people who feel passionately about your winner lists. I say, simplify your life and skip it.
