As a busy mom, I have no time to get sick! So I was excited when I was asked to try Sambucol. Sambucol is made with Elderberries and honestly I really was not sure what that was. So this is what I found out:
"Elderberries have been used for centuries to cure countless ailments from the flu and fever to colds and colic. The work of a leading scientist brought the health-giving properties of the black elderberry to the modern pharmacy and health food store. Sambucol® is the product of nearly 20 years research, making it the most extensively researched elderberry extract in the world."
I tried the liquid and also the chewable tabs. I defiantly like the liquid better. They both taste fine but when I need to take something I always look for the liquid!
Their is so much information on the site about Sambucol. Please check them out! They even make it for kids ages 2 and up. And if you are like me getting sick is not an option. Sambucol knows you don't have time to get sick either. So they are giving one of my readers some Sambucol to try!
How to enter:
You need to click & visit Sambucol then come back and leave a comment about something that you learned about Sambucol! What another entry? Blog about this giveaway and leave a post that you did and where. You can also subscribe to my blog / be a follower / grab my button for additional entries! Winner will be picked using random.org. Contest will end January 13, 2009 9:00 PM EST.

Elderberries are unusually rich in flavonoids... that act as powerful antioxidants to boost the immune system and protect the body’s cells from harm.

Looking for something that hasn't been posted and reposted yet, found a FAQ re treating asthmatics. Maybe its just me, but finding a plain honest response is unusual and lends credibility to other product claims.
"After a thorough search of published literature, no evidence has been found and no clinical studies have been identified to suggest that black elderberry extracts, which are included in the Sambucol products, have either a positive or negative effect on patients suffering from asthma."
